Whether you have a community of runners, wanna-be runners, walkers, or couch potatoes, organizing a group to do a 5K can bring people together. After all,
misery (I mean) sweat loves company, right?
Know that for some of your residents, this will be the first race they ever participate in, so be patient with them, answer their questions, and encourage them to get outside their normal comfort zone. After the event, feel free to invite everyone to celebrate with a big breakfast at a local restaurant.
