Gather the kids for a morning of running around, being loud, and acting like a kid. Kid-lympics is a chance to bring families together for a morning of physical activities, all without breaking your budget.

Use whatever you have on hand to make an obstacle course. Examples include:

  • Jump through or run over hoola hoops
  • Bounce a basketball 10 times
  • Jump rope
  • Run around garbage cans or toss bean bags into them
  • Races
  • Egg and spoon relay

Provide water and gatorade for your participants. If it's particularly hot, you can also ice down cheap rags in an ice chest and hand them out at the end of the competition. If your budget allows, purchase a few basic trophies from your local sign/trophy shop for the winners.
