Every little girl wants to be a princess, and this is your opportunity to let her live out her dream for a few hours. Invite girls to come dressed in their best princess costume or party dress and offer a “princess makeover,” complete with a tiara, and then host a small fashion show or photo shoot as the parents cheer their princesses on.
Ask a local professional for help or recruit volunteers from your community to serve as hair and makeup artists. No real expertise is required, as long as the princesses feel pampered. Follow a pink theme with pink decorations, cupcakes, and lemonade.
Supplies needed include hair spray, various make-up products, spray glitter, cotton balls, cotton swabs, and tiaras. To avoid the spread of germs, purchase a large comb for each girl and let them take it home with them, along with the tiara, as a souvenir.

Purchase spray glitter at your local beauty supply store.
Use cotton balls and cotton swabs to avoid spreading germs.
Ways to add your own flair:
For an added “wow” invite a young man from your community to dress up as “Prince Charming” to take photos with the princesses. You can also purchase additional props including a glass slipper and fancy hand-held mirror.
