A warm, personal invite introducing yourself with a printed flyer goes a long way with encouraging that person to come and already know someone there by name.

PRO TIP: Finish off your gift in plastic gift wrap and a bow, a cute phrase like "Home Sweet Home" or "Welcome Home Neighbor", and a note with your contact information so they can reach out and connect.

Don't let your neighbor's busy schedule discourage you from connecting. Try picking up the phone and giving them a call! If they don't answer, send them a text message to say hello. Let them know you are happy they moved in and warmly invite them to an upcoming gathering or event.
